Albert Herring postponed

Scene from an Opera

It is with great sadness we are postponing our performance of Albert Herring

We’ve held off for as long as possible, in the hope against hope, but we have to face the fact that, as a result of the restrictions imposed for the fight against the spread of COVID 19, we will have to postpone our production of Albert Herring, planned for June 25th to 27th this year.

We are all aware that, currently, it is impossible to plan ahead, but please be rest assured that it is our passionate intention to reschedule this production just as soon as we have an idea of how we can all enjoy an evening with friends and family at St Paul’s Church in the company of St Paul’s Opera.

The lockdown period in the fight against COVID 19 is bringing hardship to all of us. Apart from the threat to health, we are all feeling the effects in many ways.

The economic and lifestyle changes are also affecting St Paul’s Opera, with the inevitable financial consequences that come with the enforced postponement of our Albert Herring production, and so we would like to ask you to do what you can for us. We will be looking at ways of raising funds in the coming weeks, but in the meantime, here is one way that you can help us, whilst making online purchases, which we imagine will have increased for all of us. Please consider signing up for ‘Easyfundraising’ to support St Paul’s Opera, and put us in line for a chance to win an additional £500 prize donation.
