Picnic Gala – Saturday, 5 September 2020

Our late summer picnic gala of opera favourites from St Paul's Opera soloists in the beautiful grounds of St Paul's Church, Clapham.

We are so delighted, and relieved, to return to live performance with this late summer picnic opera gala. The concert will be held in the lower churchyard at St Paul's Church, Clapham.

Tickets will be free, but with limited allocation to adhere to social distancing recommendations. You are encouraged to bring chairs, tables, rugs and other picnic equipment to make your visit as comfortable as possible for your evening's enjoyment.

The concert will commence at 5pm and conclude by 7pm to ensure the light remains good throughout. However the church gate will open at 3.45pm to allow you to set up your pitch and enjoy your picnic before the concert starts.

Unfortunately, because of COVID-19, the church facilities will not be open to the public.

Whilst tickets are free of charge, we hope you will be encouraged to donate to St Paul's Opera to help safeguard future events, as we plan a full 2021 season, including our opera production, Britten's Albert Herring.
