Box office opens for Albert Herring

Summer is nearly here and rehearsals for our 2022 Opera Festival are in full swing. We are staging three performances of Benjamin Britten’s Albert Herring from 7-9 July at our home, St Paul’s Church, Rectory Grove, Clapham.

The opening night, Thursday 7 July, will be by our cover cast with piano accompaniment. Ticket prices for this performance will be just £18.

The main cast will be performing on Friday and Saturday, 8 and 9 July and will be accompanied by a full 13-piece orchestra. Tickets are £30 each.

All performances will begin at 7.00pm and, as ever, the church grounds will be open from 5.15pm to allow you to bring a picnic to enjoy before the performance and during the interval.

We have a limited number of picnic tables available for hire for a small fee and which can be reserved on a first come, first served basis. There will be a fully licensed bar offering wine, Prosecco, beer, soft drinks and nibbles.

The performance will end at approximately 10.15pm.

STOP PRESS: Saturday night is now sold out; tables are now only available on Thursday night.
